How to Dilute 70% Alcohol to 30%?
Using C1V1 = C2V2 formula: for 100 ml of 30% solution from 70% alcohol, you need 70 × V1 = 30 × 100, so V1 = 42.9 ml alcohol + 57.1 ml water. The calculator does this math automatically for all concentrations and volumes. Always add diluent to stock solution, never the reverse.
