Finland Train Traffic LIVE – Real-Time Schedules and Train Tracking

Track Finnish trains in real-time. See next departures and arrivals at any station, check delays and platform info, or follow an individual train's journey along its entire route — powered by Fintraffic's official Digitraffic API.

The tool shows both long-distance (IC, Pendolino) and commuter trains across Finland's rail network. In station view, select any Finnish passenger station and see upcoming trains with real-time schedule data. In train tracking view, search by train number (e.g., IC 171 or S 51) to see the train's complete route with all stops, delays, and platform information. Especially useful for Helsinki commuters who want to quickly check if their train is on time.

How Can I Check If My Finnish Train Is Delayed?

Select your station or search by train number. Delays are clearly shown in minutes for each train. Click on a train to see its progress along the entire route — green means passed, blue is the current location, and gray shows upcoming stops. Data comes directly from Fintraffic's Digitraffic open API.

📚 More Info

Finland Train Traffic LIVE shows real-time Finnish rail schedules, delays, and train locations directly from Fintraffic's official Digitraffic API.

✅ What does this do?

The tool provides two views: station view and train tracking. Choose any Finnish station to see departures and arrivals, or search by train number to follow a train's entire route.

  • Station view shows next departing and arriving trains with platform info — covers all Finnish passenger stations.
  • Train tracking shows an individual train's complete route, stops, and delays (e.g. IC 171, S 51, Pendolino).
  • Click a train in station view to jump to its tracking — and vice versa.
🧠 How to interpret results?

Color codes show status at a glance: green = on time, yellow = late, red = cancelled.

  • Delay is shown in minutes (e.g. +5 min) based on actual or predicted arrival times.
  • In train tracking, the timeline shows progress: green = passed, blue = current location, gray = upcoming stops.
  • Platform information updates in real-time — always check for platform changes before travel.
⚠️ Good to know

Data comes directly from Fintraffic's Digitraffic API and updates automatically. This is the same data source used by VR's own services.

  • Data accuracy varies by station — some smaller stations rely on manual entries.
  • GPS location is available only for some trains — not all locomotives have GPS transmitters.
  • Requires internet connection. Data: Fintraffic / Digitraffic (CC 4.0).
