How Much Gravel is Needed for Yard Graveling?
A 10 × 5 meter area at 10 cm thickness requires 5 m³ of gravel, or about 8–9 tons (gravel density approximately 1.7 t/m³). One truck load typically carries 10–20 tons. For walkway graveling, a 5–8 cm layer suffices, while parking areas need 15–20 cm. The calculator computes the exact amount automatically.
