Morse Code Converter – Convert Text to Morse Code and Back

The Morse code converter transforms text to Morse code with dots and dashes, and Morse code back to text. The tool also supports audio playback – hear Morse code as proper audio signals.

Type text or Morse code in the field and conversion happens instantly. The audio playback feature plays the code with correct dot (dit) and dash (dah) audio signals according to international standards.

How does Morse code work?

Morse code represents letters and numbers as combinations of short (dot, dit) and long (dash, dah) signals. The most famous Morse code is SOS: ... --- ... (three dots, three dashes, three dots). A dash lasts three times as long as a dot. There's a one-dot pause between letters, seven-dot pause between words.
