What's the difference between A4 and Letter paper size?
A4 is 210 × 297 mm — the standard in almost all countries except North America. US Letter is 215.9 × 279.4 mm — slightly wider but shorter than A4. Legal is 215.9 × 355.6 mm. When printing European A4 documents on US printers or vice versa, margins can get messed up without proper settings.
